Movement of trains affected following derailment of train

Kolkata, Oct 3 (UNI) Movement of trains from Howrah station were affected for about five hours today as two coaches of down Gurap-Howrah local (G-102 Dn) got derailed when the train was entering the platform.

There was, however, no injury or casualty to any passenger due to the derailement, Eastern Railway sources here said.

As a result, they said movement of trains through down chord line were disrupted for five hours before normal services resumed at around noon.
