3 members of marketing company booked for duping investors
Moga, Oct 2 (UNI) Police have registered a case against three members of a marketing company for duping investors of several crores of rupees.
According to police, Maximum Solution Network Marketing Private Limited managing director Sanjay Kumar Arora alongwith Shyam Lal Giridhar and Rajkumar were booked on the complaint of five people Gurpreet Singh, Sandeep Singh, Rakesh Kumar, Balkar Singh and Harpeet Singh.
The company, according to police, lured innocent rural people to become its member by depositing Rs 3,600 and assured them of providing costly mobile handsets, motor cycles and Indica cars.
So far the company had enrolled several hundred members mostly from Moga, Muktsar and Barnala areas.
If a member of the company secured two more members he would get Rs 14,000 cash, for 14 member he would get a Motorcycle and for 1000 membership he would an Indica car.
The trouble started when cheques issued to the members started bouncing. When the members tried to contact the managing director and director of the company at Muktsar head office of the comapany, they were found to be absconding.
Acting on the complaint and after investigating the matter, Nihal Singh Wala police registered a case against MD and Directrors of the company under section 420,465,467, 68 and 120-B.
