10 kg heroin recovered from river Ravi near Indo-Pak border
Gurdaspur, Oct 2 (UNI) The Border Security Force (BSF) recovered 10 kg of heroin from river Ravi near Kot Rajda Border Outpost on Indo-Pak border last night.
BSF DIG VK Sharma said here today BSF personnel saw a bag floating in the river last night and found 12 packets tightly packed in a waterproof plastic bag.
He said 10 packets of one kg each contained heroin whereas one of the remaining two had five imported wrist watches in it while the other contained two pairs of Pakistani Kasoori slippers. In the international market the value of the seized heroin is nearly Rs 10 crore, he added.
