Tributes paid to actor Sivaji on 79th birth anniversary

Puducherry, Oct 1 (UNI) Tributes were paid to veteran film actor Sivaji Ganesan on his 79th birth anniversary here today.

Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy, Government whip M Kandasamy and former speaker M D R Ramachandran were among others, who garlanded the statue of Sivaji on the East-coast road at Karuvadikuppam here to mark the occasion.

Leaders and volunteers of the Sivaji National Congress also garlanded the statue on the occasion.
