'Sanjivini' conducts blood donation camp

Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, Oct 1, (UNI) 'Sanjeevini', a Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) conducted a blood donation camp 'donate blood save life', at Anam Kala Kendram here today.

Addressing the gatheringon the occasion, State Roads and Buildings Minister Jakkampudi Ramamohan Rao said accident prone areas would be identified in the district, and voluntary blood donation camps would be encouraged through organisations like 'Sanjivini'.

He assured all sorts of help to the NGO for conducting awareness programmes on blood donation.

Several persons donated blood on the occasion, which was followed by cultural programmes.
