Sanedo fame folk singer Maniraj Barot passes away

Rajkot, Oct 1 (UNI) Will known Gujarati folk-singer Maniraj Barot died of cardiac arrest here last night. He was 42.

He is survived by four daughters and estranged wife Aarti.

The tregic end came when Barot (42) was performing 'Aradhana' at a private resort on the outskirts of Rajkot city on Rajkot-Ahmedabad highway before leaving for Ahmedabad where he suffered a severe attack.

He was rushed to a private hospital here, where doctors declared him dead. His elder daughter Meghal was with him at the time of his death.

Later, his body was brought to Rajkot Civil Hospital for postmortem.

Mr Barot was popularly known for his Sanedo album.
