Rajnath sees no threat to BJP-SAD alliance

Chandigarh, Oct 1 (UNI) BJP president Rajnath Singh today said his party's alliance with the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) in Punjab would continue in the coming assembly elections and there was no problem with regard to the allocation of seats between the two allies.

''There is no problem over the seats. The alliance between the BJP and SAD will remain,'' he told reporters when his attention was drawn to the reports about the ongoing haggling between the two parties over the distribution of assembly seats.

He denied that the coordination committee of the alliance was facing any problem in resolving the matter.
