President Kalam greets people on thw occassion of Dussehra

New Delhi, Oct 1 (UNI) President A P J Abdul Kalam today greeted people of the country on the occasion of Dussehra, saying the festival marked the triumph of ethical and moral values cherished so deeply in society.

''The festival of Dussehra celebrates the triumph of truth and and the power of ethical and moral values and value systems cherished so deeply in society,'' Dr Kalam said in his message.

He also appealed to the people to resolve on this auspicious day, to bring peace and well-being and to share their happiness with those in need.

''On the auspicious occasion of Dussehra, I extend my greetings and good wishes to all my people living in India and abroad,'' the message said.
