Play suspended in WGC championship, Woods seven ahead
WATFORD, England, Oct 1 (Reuters) Play in the WGC American Express Championship final round was suspended at 1158 GMT today because of lightning.
Officials had already ordered two-tee starts and an early finish because of the threat of bad weather.
Tiger Woods, the leader for the first three rounds, lay 21-under-par, seven shots in front of Jim Furyk and Adam Scott, by his eighth hole when the players were called in.
