LIC (International) launches new policy for NRIs in Dubai

Dubai, Oct 1 (UNI) Life Insurance Corporation (International) has unveiled a new investment policy, for NRIs in the age group of 18-65, which offers attractive higher sum assured rebate and loan facilities.

''The with profit 'Insurance Plus' policy has life insurance coverage and the term is just five years,'' LIC's Qatar Resident Manager Vishnu Dev has said.

The policy requires a one-time investment and the minimum sum assured is 5,000 dollars. There is no ceiling on maximum investment.

The official stated that there is good demand for children's policies, pension policy, and special plans like Jeevan Anand and Jeevan Rekha.

''We have also sold a good number of Asha Deep policy, which provides life insurance along with coverage against cancer, paralytic strokes, renal failure, and coronary artery disease,'' Mr Dev added.
