K B Jandial is media advisor to J

Srinagar, Oct 1 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir Cabinet has appointed a senior IAS officer, K B Jandial, as the media advisor to Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad.

Fifty-seven year-old Mr Jandial is Secretary in the state Agriculture Department.

Mr Jandial, who had headed the state Information Department for nearly a decade, would hold the post in addition to his existing responsibilities.

He had also served as Administrator of the Jammu Municipality and vice-chairman of the Jammu Development Authority.
