Devotees throng to witness Chandra Vahanam procession

Tirumala, Oct 1 (UNI) The seventh day of ongoing nine-day Brahmotsavam made the devotees feel refreshed after seeing Lord Sri Malayappa Swamy was carried on Chandraprabha Vahanam around the four mada streets in Tirumala tonight.

People rushed to witness the Lord's procession on Chandraprabha Vahanam, which would prevail peace and serenity in the world.

State Endowments Minister J C Dwakar Reddy, TTD Chairman B Karunakar Reddy, MP Rayapati Samba Siva Rao, TTD Executive Officer A P V N Sarma, Tirumala Temple JEO Balaramaiah, State School Education Secretary P Krishnaiah and many other officers and thousands of devotees witnessed the Lord carried on Chandraprabha Vahanam.

Earlier in the morning, Lord Malayappa was mounted on Suryaprabha Vahanam around four mada streets in Tirumala.
