Deshmukh rules out early expansion of his ministry

Kolhapur, Oct 1: Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh today virtually ruled out an early expansion of his ministery.

When Mr Deshmukh's attention was drawn towards the his long-awaited, cabinet expansion, he quipped that he was not aware when it would take place.

When a reporter asked Mr Deshmukh whether the cabinet expansion would be held on October 4 as some reports suggested, the chief minister just smiled but did not reply.
