Cellebrum-Reliance offer Durga Puja content

New Delhi, Oct 1: Leading Value Added Service (VAS) solutions provider Cellebrum has tied up with Reliance Telecom (RT) to offer special Durga Puja content to all RT subscribers in the eastern region of the country.

The content to be offered includes Durga Puja greetings, religious tones, tunes and music, logos and picture messages, family dramas regarding the Puja, alerts on timings and venue of the puja across the city and weather conditions.

''These days, regional content is one of the most sought after commodities in the VAS domain believing that rural markets will drive the growth in the telecom sector in the second round of reforms,'' Cellebrum Chief Operating Officer Saket Agarwal said.

Mr Agarwal said that the next 100 million mobile connections will be the contribution of rural India, thereby providing a huge opportunity for development and implementation of innovative regional content.

Cellebrum's flagship product Background Music (BGM) will also be made available to RT subscribers in the form of Popular Dhak and Agomoni songs (songs to invoke Goddess Durga).

In addition to this, new song releases by eminent regional artists will also be available on Cellebrum's Interactive Voice Response System (IVRs) for usage as background music.

With a turnover of Rs 100 crore, an MCorpGlobal Group company, Cellebrum currently commands 20 per cent of the VAS market in the country.

Some of the products offered by Cellebrum include Pay-4-Me and Select Caller List, besides Background Music (BGM).
