'Ayudha Pooja' celebrated in Pondy

Puducherry, Oct 1 (UNI) 'Ayudha Pooja' was celebrated with religious fervor here today.

People thronged various temples and offered prayers.

Today being an holiday, Poojas were performed in all government offices yesterday.

Pondicherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy, his cabinet colleague M O H F Shajahan, Speaker R Radhakrishnan and legislator S P Sivakumar attended the pooja organised at the press room in the Assembly yesterday.
