Air India Express' Delhi-Amritsar-Dubai from Oct 3

Mumbai, Oct 1: Air India Express, India's only International budget airline and fully owned subsidiary of Air India, has announced direct flights between Mangalore and Dubai, as well as, flights between Amritsar, Delhi and Dubai.

The inaugural flight on October 3, will commence at Delhi, proceed to Amritsar and onwards to Dubai. Operations between Mangalore and Dubai will start on the same day. Special inaugural fares are being offered for a limited period, a release issued here today said.

From October 5, there will be three weekly frequencies each between Amritsar, Delhi, Mangalore and Dubai. Departures from India will be every Monday, Thursday and Saturday.

A release giving details of the flight schedule said the Delhi/Amritsar to Dubai and return flight will depart from Delhi at 0910 hrs and from Amritsar at 1125 hrs and arrive in Dubai at 1310 hrs. The return flight will leave Dubai every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. The flight will depart from Dubai at 0001 hrs, arrival at Amritsar at 0430 hrs and in Delhi at 0645 hrs.

Similarly, the Mangalore-Dubai and return flight will operate every Monday, Thursday and Saturday. It will leave Mangalore at 2100 hrs. The flight will arrive in Dubai at 2300 hrs. The return Flight will depart Dubai at 1400 and arrive at Mangalore at 1910 hrs.

Air India Express now operates 41 flights per week between Amritsar, Delhi, Mangalore, Kozhikode, Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram and Muscat, Salalah, Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.

The flights will be operated by Boeing 737-800 aircraft in an all Economy version.
