11 lions, one tiger reaches from Jaipur
Tirupati, Oct 1 (UNI) Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park (SVZP) rescued eleven lions and one tiger from Rajasthan and brought to the zoological park here today.
Talking to UNI here, B Sundar, Curator of the SVZP said the nine lions and two lioness, besides one tiger were brought this morning by four lorries from Amar and Jubo Circus at Jaipur.
He said the total number of lions have increased to 72, while tigers strength has gone upto five in the park. The wild animals were kept in the rescue centre for observation and treatment, he added.
