Retirement age raised to 57 for Col grade in medical corps

New Delhi, Sep 29 (UNI) The Cabinet today raised the retirement age from 56 to 57 years for non-technical colonel selection grade officials of the Army Medical Corps.

The decision, involving a financial implication of Rs 23 lakh a year, was aimed at removing an anomaly, Finance Minister P Chidambaram told reporters.
