Bhojpuri super star to play 'Sher Shah' opposite Sushmita

Varanasi, Sep 29 (UNI) Superstar of Bhojpuri cinema Manoj Tiwari is likely to make a crossover to Bollywood, by essaying the title role in a movie on great warrior Sher Shah Suri, which also stars former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen.

Tiwari, also nicknamed the Big B of Bhojpuri cinema said he is likely to soon make a plunge into Bollywood through three films, including the one with Salman Khan and another with John Abraham and Rajpal Yadav.

The most ambitious Bollywood project for Tiwari, also a well known Bhojpuri singer, is a movie on the life of 'Sher Shah', the great warrior, who once ruled the entire country and is accredited with networking the nation with roads.

''It is a dream to enact the historical character of Sher Shah Suri and that too opposite Sushmita Sen,'' said Tiwari, adding, that the ambitious project is likely to begin early next year.

The Bhojpuri film icon, however, refused to divulge further on the project.

Manoj Tiwari belongs to the same Sasaram-Bhabhua belt of Bihar edging Uttar Pradesh, from which Sher Shah Suri is believed to have hailed from.
