Youth leaps from building in Karimnagar

Karimnagar, Andhra Pradesh, Sep 28 (UNI) In a bizarre incident, a mentally deranged youth committed suicide by jumping from the third floor of a building here.

Karimnagar Inspector Amareswar Reddy told UNI that the wife of Abdul Raheem(30), a taxi driver had deserted him six years ago following a family quarrel. He climbed atop of a building and threatened to jump off.

While the police tried to pursuade the youth not to commit the act, the fire service personnel, who rushed there did not brought nets. After failing to pursue the youth for three hours, he jumped from the building and died, Mr Reddy added.
