Victoria Institution blank Colombo school 5-0

New Delhi, Sep 28 (UNI) Victoria Institution, Kuala Lumpur continued to humiliate their rivals and the Malaysian school today blanked Zahira College, Colombo 5-0 in the juniors (under-17) category of Subroto Cup football tournament here today.

G Rohan scored a splendid hat-trick while Ahmed Muzzafar and Md Shafiq Zakaria netted one each in a match completely dominated by the Malaysians.

In other matches, Habbiya School, Afghanistan defeated Ukhrul High School, Manipur 3-1 whereas Govt Boys Anand High School, Dhar scraped past Malabar Christian College, Kerala by a solitary goal.

In the sub-junior (under-14) section, it was a day of lop-sided affairs as Mizoram Hr Sec School, Aizwal routed Bum Hall Hr Sec School, Srinagar 14-0 while Govt Higher Sec School, Dimapur and GRRC Army boys trampled their respective rivals by an identical margin of 13-0.
