Two policemen, a woman among 6 killed; 7 ultras nabbed in J

Srinagar, Sep 28 (UNI) Two police personnel, a woman and a Hizbul Mujahideen militant were among six people killed while troops unearthed two hideouts, arrested seven ultras and seized a huge cache of arms and ammunition in Jammu and Kashmir overnight, an official spokesman said today.

He said security forces arrested two Hizb militants in Pahalgam area of Anantnag district in south Kashmir last evening. One hand grenade and three detonators were seized from them.

The spokesman said a militant was arreseted by the security forces at Dachinpora Panzla in the same district last evening. Two UBGL greandes, as many hand grenades and five rounds were seized from him.

Security forces arrested one more Hizb militant along with one pistol and eight rounds from Chrar-e-Sharief area of central Kashmir district of Badgam last evening, he added.

Three militants were arrested by the security forces in Banihal, Sarthal and Kewa Bonjwah area of Doda district in Jammu region last evening, the spokesman said.
