TMC supremo admitted in hospital, condition now stable

Kolkata, Sep 28 (UNI) Trinamool Congress (TMC) Chief Mamata Banerjee was admitted in a city nursing home early today after she complained off chestpain and breathlessness.

Party general secretary Mukul Roy rpt Mukul Roy told UNI that she was rushed to hospital after she experienced pain while breathing and is under treatment of oxygen and saline.

However, the doctors attending on her have said the condition of Ms Banerjee was stable.

Mr Roy said the party supremo was suffering from severe chest pain, respiratory trouble and Haematoma due to 'injury' she suffered during the scuffle with state police while staging a dharna at Singur on September 25.

'' The pain and the breathlessness is a result of the injury she received at Singur,'' Mr Roy alleged.
