Teenager jumps from Rohini Court complex

New Delhi, Sept 28 (UNI) A teenage girl today jumped from the multi-storeyed Rohini Court complex in North-West Delhi's Rohini area this afternoon.

Mamta (18), resident of Mongolpuri, allegedly jumped from the third floor of the court complex at about 1100 hrs after the anticipatory bail plea of her 'husband' Lal Babu was rejected by Additional Sessions Judge Purushottam Kaushal, said sources.

She was rushed to Saroj Hospital with multiple fractures.

The girl had allegedly married Lal Babu on September 5 against her parents wishes, after which her father Satyanarain Soni lodged a complaint at Mongolpuri police station stating that his daughter had been lured into matrimony by Babu.

Lal Babu later filed a plea for anticipatory bail, whose hearing was held today. The court, while rejecting the bail plea, directed the girl to go with her parents.
