Rupee opens down at Rs 45.92/93/USD

Mumbai, Sept 28: Indian currency today opened down by three paise at Rs 45.92/93 per US Dollar compared to the previous close of Rs 45.90 per US Dollar, a trader in the money market said.

In the mid morning trade, the rupee was trading at Rs 45.91/92 per US dollar.

The stock market, however, opened strong by 22 points and is currently trading 47 points up at 12,414.55.
