Rane bids farewell to adventure sailors from Turkey

Panaji, Sep 28 (UNI) Chief Minister Pratapsinh Rane bid farewell to a group of sailors from Turkey, who were here on an adventure mission ''Vasco-da-Gama Rally'', at a function held at the Panaji jetty.

The foreign sailors, who had been here for the past five months, have expressed happiness over the facilities provided at the jetty during their stay.

While bidding them adieu yesterday, Mr Rane hoped they would carry the message of goodwill from Goa.

The jetty had been well developed for hosting the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in 2004 following which Goa was declared as the permanent venue for the festival.
