One killed, 2 policemen injured in security force firing in Kashmir

Srinagar, Sep 28 (UNI) One person was killed and two police personnel were injured when security forces allegedly opened fire on the occupants of a vehicle when they refused to stop the car in south Kashmir district of Anantnag today.

Official sources said one Showkat Ahmad died on the spot and two police personnel, travelling in the vehicle, were injured. The injured were admitted to hospital.

Sources said Showkat and police personnel were on way to Anantnag from Pahalgam.
