NTPC's Feroze Gandhi station reaches 1,050 MW capacity
New Delhi, Sep 28 (UNI) NTPC today successfully test synchronised the fifth 210 MW unit of Feroze Gandhi Unchahar Thermal Power Station, taking its installed capacity to 1,050 MW.
The station supplies power to Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Chandigarh, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.
NTPC is the largest power generating company in the country with a capacity of 26,404 MW. Presently, the company is working on 14 coal-based, seven gas-based and four joint venture projects.
