No complaint received from 'victim' in Joseph case:Govt
Kochi, Sep 28 (UNI) The Kerala government today told the high court that no complaint has been received from Ms Lakshmi Gopakumar against former minister P J Joseph relating to an alleged harassment incident aboard a Kingfisher aircraft.
In an affidavit filed by the Home department, it was stated that till the whole truth was ascertained in a judicial inquiry, it may not be proper to register a criminal case against Mr Joseph.
In the affidavit it was also stated that the government was not fully satisfied with the preliminary inquiry report submitted by IG B Sandhya.
According to the government, the PIL filed by All India Mahila Congress Committee secretary Simy Rosebel John, seeking a direction from the court to register a criminal case against Mr Joseph, was politicaly motivated and without bonafides.
