Mineral production in Aug estimated at Rs 1,139 cr

New Delhi, Sep 28 (UNI) The total value of mineral production covering metalliferrous and industrial minerals, excluding fuel, minor and atomic minerals in August this year is estimated at Rs 1,139 crores as against Rs 877 crores acheived during the corresponding month of the previous year.

According to an offical release issued here today, the total value of these minerals in July this year was placed at Rs 1,101 crores.
