It is Puducherry from Sunday

New Delhi, Sep 28 (UNI) Pondicherry will be known as Puducherry from October one.

The Home Ministry has issued a notification bringing into force the provisions of the Pondicherry (Alteration of Name) Act, 2006 from that date.
