IPS reshuffle in MP after changing DGP

Bhopal, Sep 28 (UNI) In a major reshuffle in the police headquarters after changing the Director General of Police in Madhya Pradesh, five senior IPS have been transferred while a new post of Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) has been created.

Mr Surendra Singh, ADG Fire Service, has been posted as ADG ( Law and Order), the police spokesman said today.

Mr V M Kanwar, ADG Police Training School, Indore, has been appointed ADG (Administration), replacing Mr Nandan Dube, who movesas as ADG (Fire Service).

Mr Rajendra Kumar, IG (Training), Bhopal, changes psitions with Indore IG Shailendra Shrivastava.

Mr Anand Rao Panwar was appointed DGP a week ago after Mr Swaraj Puri was removed from the post in the wake of registration of a criminal case against him for securing his son's admission in an engineering college under NRI quota. Mr Puri has since been posted as DG (Home Guards).
