India Pistons MD is new chief of employers' forum

Chennai, Sep 28 (UNI) Mr N Venkataramani, Managing Director of India Pistons Limited, has been elected as President of the Employers' Federation of India (EFI) for 2006-07.

He was elected at the recently concluded annual general meeting of the Federation in Mumbai, a federation release here said.

Mr Venkataraman holds a Masters Degree in Production Engineering with distinction from Imperial College, London.

He has long been associated with Amalgamations Group and is on the Board of Directors.

The India Pistons MD had served as President of the Madras Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Madras Management Association and Indo-Australian Chamber of Commerce, it added.
