Hadagalli records 8 cm rain

Bangalore, Sep 28 (UNI) Following is a Summary of observations recorded by the weather office here at 0830 hours today.

Monsoon was weak over Coastal Karnataka.

Rainfall occurred at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

Hadagalli recorded heavy rainfall of 8 cm.

Other chief amounts of rainfall (cm) : H.B.Halli 6; Yadgir , Bijapur, Kottur 5 each;Kudligi 4; Ramdurg , Harapanahalli 3 each; Mudhol, Jamakhandi, Tikkota, Mundargi, Ron , Kanakapura, Hospet, Jagalur 2 each; Gadag, Koppal RG, Nagathan, B.Bagewadi, Indi, Sindhanur, Jeewargi 1 each.

Forecast valid until Saturday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over the State.

Forecast for Farmers: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over all the districts of the State.

Outlook for subsequent two days: Decrease in rainfall is expected over Coastal Karnataka.

Forecast for Bangalore: Partly cloudy. Light rain towards evening/night.
