Global meet to accelerate growth of Bihar

Patna, Sep 28 (UNI) An action plan will be prepared, with special focus on tourism and agriculture, to acclerate growth of Bihar.

The Vision document for the state would be prepared after a three-day global seminar of Non-Resident Biharis here during January 19-21 next year on 'Resurgent Bihar: A vision' to seek help from the industrialists of Bihar origin for accelerating the development of the state.

Talking to mediapersons here, Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi said the event would be jointly organised by Bihar Times and Institute of Human Development, New Delhi.

Delegates from United States, Canada, Germany, Britain, France, besides other countries, are expected to participate in the mega event, he added.

Mr Modi informed that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar would be chief patron of the organising committee.
