ENC's rafting expedition flagged off

Visakhapatnam, Sep 28 (UNI) Flag officer Sumbmarines Rear Admiral Pradip K Chatterjee today flagged off the Eastern Naval Command's (ENC) 'White Water Rafting Expedition' here today.

An ENC release said the exedition was part of the regular activities to promote the spirit of adventure apart from building physical endurance and esprit de corps among the Naval personnel.

The team would establish its base camp at Devpryag in Chamoli District of Uttaranchal. After acclimatization, team would start its expedition from Rudraprayag downstream to Rishikesh covering a distance of 150 km.

The participants would interact with people en route and spread the message of goodwill and harmony.
