Drop in temperature brings relief to capital
New Delhi, Sep 28 (UNI) Westerly winds continued to provide relief to the capital today which witnessed another sunny day.
The maximum temperature hovered around 35.5 degrees Celsius one degree above normal and the minimum recorded temperature was 23 degrees celsius.
With the South West Monsoon withdrawing from neighbouring areas of Delhi, the weathermen have forecasted a mainly clear sky in the capital in the next three to four days.
However, the maximum temperature is expected to hover around a comfortable 32 to 34 degrees Celsius.
Dry weather has prevailed in the national capital after last week's short burst of moderate showers in the capital, which brought about a sharp drop in the mercury.
Though subsequent days saw a dry weather, the coolness brought about by the rains has prevailed, bringing relief to people of Delhi from sultry weather of previous weeks.
