Distribute pension forms through Association

Puducherry, Sep 28 (UNI) The Puducherry Agriculturists Association owing allegiance to the Communist Party of India today urged the administration to ensure that the application forms for the farmers pension be distributed through the association.

Talking to newsmen here today, Association Leader Ramamurthy said the right and eligible persons would get the pension only if the applications were distributed through the association.

It would also ensure that the other benifits of the government reach the eligible persons.

He said while the pension in Kerala was Rs 200, Rs 400 in Tamil Nadu, Chief Minister N Rangasamy had enhanced it to Rs 750 per month in the Union Territory.

The association would organise a function to honour Chief Minister N Rangasamy, who increased the pension amount to Rs 750 per month, he added.
