Bhopal, Sep 28 (UNI) A local court today fixed October 13 as the next date of hearing in connection with a fake passport case, in which underworld don Abu Salem and his actress-girlfriend Monica Bedi are accused.

Chief Judicial Magistrate Dinesh Kumar Dangi extended the date after prosecution failed to file supplementary chargesheet in the case.

Earlier, the CJM had extended the date for the same reason.

Bhopal Police had registered cases against Salem, his wife Sameera Jumani and Monica for obtaining fake passports using fake names of Danish Baig, Rubina Baig and Faujia Usman in November 2001.

Two other local co-accused, Syed Abdul alias Shiraj Abdul and his brother Baba Abu alias Kabir, were arrested and later released on bail.
