BJP asks state govt to approve SEZ only after transperancy

Mumbai, Sep 28 (UNI) Maharashtra BJP spokesman Madhu Chavan today asked the state government not to implement the special economic zone policy till 'complete transperancy' in the whole matter.

Talking to reporters , Mr Chavan stressed the need for proper rehabilitation of the farmers and demanded that the government should announce the list of the industries and their demands for SEZs. He also said that the employment factor should also be considered while approving the same.

He further said SEZs should not be used for the 'financial benefits' of the officials and politicians.
