At least 21 Pakistanis killed in road collision

HYDERABAD, Pakistan, Sep 28 (Reuters) A head-on collision between a truck and a minibus on a bridge killed at least 21 people in southern Pakistan today, a police official said.

''There were over two dozen passengers in the Hiace van that collided head-on with a truck on a bridge. So far, 21 people have died,'' district police officer Makhdoom Ghulam Mohammad told Reuters. Six children and four women were among the dead.

The accident occurred on the Dadu-Moro bridge around 290 km north of Pakistan's biggest city, Karachi.
