Akhilesh Singh threatens to withdraw support from UP govt

Lucknow, Sep 28 (UNI) Akhil Bharti Congress Dal MLA, Akhilesh Singh, today threatened to withdraw support from the Mulayam Singh Yadav government in Uttar Pradesh.

Singh, currently lodged in the Rai bareli jail is apparently peeved at government's decision to transfer him to Kanpur jail while the Vidhan Sabha Secretariat said it has so far not received any letter from the MLA. Political sources claimed he may dash off the letter shortly.

Akhilesh Singh had split from the Congress three years ago with 15 other MLAs. Except him, all the other MLAs joined the Samajwadi Party.
