Airtel's special Dussehra ISD offer for select post-paid customers

New Delhi, Sep 28 (UNI) Telecom major Airtel today announced the launch of a special festive offer on ISD for its post-paid mobile customers in Delhi and NCR, enabling them to make calls to seven countries for five minutes, with the next five minutes absolutely free.

The offer, valid till October 2, 2006, is for select post-paid mobile customers who currently get incoming ISD calls but do not make outgoing international calls, or for low ISD users who call less than 3 minutes on ISD in the entire month.

The offer is for calls made to the US, Canada, Europe (landline), Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Hong Kong, which are the most frequently called ISD destinations.

Airtel customers who are eligible for this offer will get an SMS from Airtel, and the ISD tariffs will remain the same as applicable.

The maximum free minutes that can be availed by Airtel customers cannot be more than 10 minutes in a month.

''In keeping with the spirit of the festive season, and being aware of the needs of our customers to connect with their loved ones at this time, Airtel takes the lead in offering customised initiatives for the Delhi and NCR customers,'' Bharti Airtel Ltd (Mobility) Delhi circle CEO Christopher Tobit said.

The company is structured into three strategic business units -- Mobile services, Broadband and Telephone (B&T) services and Enterprise services.
