25 Houses destroyed in fire

Jammu, sep 28 (UNI) Twenty five houses were reduced to ashes and properties worth several lakh destroyed in an accidental fire in Nowgam village of Doda district last night.

No loss of life and injury was reported.

According to official sources house caught fire accidentaly and encompassed other close by houses in the village. The fire completely destroyed 25 houses till last night. All efforts of villagers to put off the fire were in vain.

Sources said that the local administration is trying to assess the loss in the fire to provide help to the affected families.
