212 AMC recruits inducted as full-fledged soldiers

Lucknow, Sep 28 (UNI) On completion of training, 212 Army Medical Corps (AMC) recruits were today inducted as full-fledged soldiers at an impressive attestation parade organised at the AMC Centre here.

Major Gen M Srivastava, VSM, Deputy Commandant and Chief Instructor, AMC Centre and School reviewed the parade, which was commnaded by Lt M M Yadav.

The recruits gave a fine display of their training by marching smartly and elegantly in front of the reviewing officer, before taking the oath to serve the country and to sacrifice their lives on the call of duty.

Speaking on the occasion, Major Gen Srivastava congratulated the newly attested soldiers and advised them to remain loyal and faithful to the country. He also congatulated their parents.

Highlighting the role of AMC, he called upon them to uphold the high trandition and motto of AMC 'Sarve Santu Nirmaya'.
