Militants kill a police personnel and injure another in Srinagar

Srinagar, Sep 27 (UNI) Militants struck at two different places in the summer capital of the Jammu and Kashmir when they shot dead a selection grade police constable and injured critically another this afternoon.

Official sources said militants shot at a selection grade constable Ghulam Mohammad Malik at Bohri Kadal in the down town city this afternoon.

He was immediately shifted to hospital where he was declared brought dead.

Panic gripped busy Hari Singh High Street (HSHS) near here when militants fired upon a police constable from a very close range.

He was admitted to SMHS hospital in a very critical condition.
