KLG Systel bags Rs 24cr contract in Punjab, Rajasthan
New Delhi, Sep 27 (UNI) KLG Systel Ltd (KLG) has received Rs 24 crore renovation orders from Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd (JVVN) and Punjab State Electricity Board (PSEB) after the Rajasthan and Punjab Governments accepted its proposed feeder renovation programme.
''We can combine KLG's expertise in project management, revenue management of electicity boards and our deep domain knowledge in the power sector to jointly bring advanced IT-based solutions to the Indian power sector,'' company's MD Kumud Goel said. As part of the 19-crore JVVN order, the company will reconfigure 11 KV feeders for Bharatpur area, which is expected to be complete in 10 months. It will cover a total of 31 11 KV feeders serving 15,000-20,000 consumers in the area and increase the reliablity of supply to the domestic consumers in terms of reduced outages and load shedding.
For PSEB, which has given Rs 50-crore contract, KLG will carry out meter reading and energy reconciliation of consumers who use power for agricultural purposes and accounts for 53,000 connections.
KLG provides integrated IT-based solutions and services for the complete life cycle of electricity including power generation, transmission and ditribution. It also provides revenue management services to several power utilities.
