7 policemen and 3 women injured in Kashmir
Srinagar, Sep 27 (UNI) Seven state police personnel and three women were injured in two blasts in the Kashmir valley today, official sources said.
They said militants hurled a hand grenade towards a police party at crowded Budshah Chowk near here this afternoon. It exploded on the roadside causing injuries to seven policemen.
The injured have been admitted to a hospital.
They said one of the explosive devices, reportedly planted by security forces around their camp to prevent a fidayeen attack, went off at Khandri Achabal in south Kashmir district of Anantnag when a group of women were walking there.
Three women were injured in the blast, they said, adding the injured were admitted to a hospital where condition of one them is stated to be critical.
