PM to inaugurate golden jubilee celebrations of Kerala formation

New Delhi, Sep 25 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will inaugurate on November one the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the formation of Kerala.

Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan today met Dr Singh, who accepted the invitation to inaugurate the celebrations. The 50-day celebrations will begin all over the State on November one and will continue till December 20.

The Prime Minister, during his visit, will also lay the foundation for a new terminal at the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport.

The Chief Minister also sought early clearance of some pending schemes. Education Minister M A Baby also accompanied the Chief Minister during the meeting with the Prime Minister.
