Man kills pregnant sister-in-law in a fit of rage

New Delhi, Sept 23 (UNI) A 32-year-old pregnant woman was allegedly killed by her brother-in-law this morning in Tilak Nagar area of West Delhi, following a quarrel.

Pushpa was allegedly hit by a wooden stool by Rahul (22) this morning following an altercation over an ongoing family dispute, according to the police.

The stool hit her on the head after which the victim collapsed.

She was rushed to the hospital but was declared 'brought dead'.

Married to Suresh (36) six years ago, Pushpa was presently pregnant.

She leaves behind a 4-year-old daughter.

Accused Rahul has been arrested and charged under Section 304, culpable homicide not amounting to murder, police added.
